Common Questions

Q: What type of wax do you use to make candles?

A: We use non-toxic parasoy wax which is a blend of soy and paraffin. It’s both FDA approved and safe to burn.

Q: My candle has a high flame…

A: Always make sure to trim your wick after each burn and follow the candle care recommendations

Q: I have multiple wicks, do I light all of them?

A: Yes; to obtain a full melt pool, you will need to light all the wicks.

Q: I cut my wick too short, and the candle won’t stay lit. The candle ruined!

A: No! You can pour off some of the melted wax or scoop out the solid wax that is around the wick.

Q:  How can I cut my wicks?

A:  You can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or a nail clipper your wicks.

Q: How should I burn my wax melts?

A: A wax warmer is recommended to properly burn all Wax melts.

Q: When burning my candle will the jar / vessel get hot?

A: YES!  The Jar vessel will get hot especially when the wax gets lower in jar.

Q:  Will the fragrance of my 6 oz. candle fill up an entire room?

A: Small candles are generally placed in smaller rooms.  Larger candles tend to fill up larger areas because of the size of the melt pool.

Q: How long will my candle last?

A:  Candle longevity depends on several factors. The most important factor is candle care. Our 10.5oz candles can last 60+ hours. Trimming wicks is essential part of caring for the candle. Of course, the more wax the longer the candle will burn and following the recommended burn time is very important.

Q: How many wax melts should I place in my warmer?

A: You can use as many or as little as you want. We recommend two cubes. The more melts placed in the warmer will give you a stronger smell of the specific scent that is being used.  Just be careful not to cause the melted wax to overflow.
